We affirm that the Holy Bible and its scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. The Truth revealed to us not by the will of man, but of Holy Men of God moved by the Spirit. It is the final and sufficient authority in faith and in life.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21
The One True Living God, creator and sustainer of all things, reveals Himself to us as three persons; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. The Trinity have distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence and being. All three are equally worthy of the same glory, honor, and obedience.
Genesis 1:1, John 17:3,
Matthew 28:19-20, John 1:1-4
Acts 5:3-4,
God is infinite in holiness, wisdom, power, knowledge and perfect love. As our Creator he is omnipresent, eternal, just and unchanging. To Him we owe the highest form of love, reverence and obedience. He offers forgiveness and redemption through His Son Jesus Christ by reigning over the course of human history according to His purpose.
Revelation 4:11, Colossians 1:17
Exodus 34:6-7, Psalms 8:3-9
Romans 11:34-36
As the second person of the triune God, Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary, being both fully God and fully man. In the perfect will of God, Jesus took upon Himself the demands and necessities of human nature and identified himself with mankind, yet free of sin. Jesus honored the divine law by obedience and with His death and resurrection, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin.
John 1:1,14,18; John 14:8-9;
1 Timothy 3:16
The Holy Spirit as the third person of the triune God is the Living Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit glorifies and exalts the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement. He draws the unredeemed to repentance and faith; and, at the moment of salvation, imparts new spiritual life to the believer. The Holy Spirit sanctifies, fills, guides, instructs, comforts, equips, empowers, permanently indwells at salvation, and bestows the spiritual gifts upon us so that we may better serve God.
John 16:1,8; John 13:15,
Titus 3:5, Ephesians 1:22
Ephesians 4:11-12, Romans 8:9-17
Romans 12 :4-8, 1 Corinthians 3:16
1 Corinthians 12:4-5, Galatians 5:25
Hebrews 2:1-4, 2 Corinthians 12:12
God created mankind in His own image, both male and female, unique, special, and different from the rest of creation to enjoy a special relationship with God. In the beginning, mankind was innocent of sin and was endowed with the freedom of choice. With this freedom of choice mankind sinned against God by disobeying His will. Each of us are born with this tendency, which is referred to as a 'sinful nature'. The redemption of our relationship with God cannot be of our own ability, and we are in dire need of a Savior.
Genesis 1:27, Genesis 3:1-6
Romans 3:10-19, Romans 1:18,32
Psalm 139:14-15
We affirm that mankind can only find salvation from sin by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that because Jesus died on the cross for our sins as the atonement in our place, salvation is found in none other than Jesus Christ. In that moment when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit draws you to Himself and presents to you the Truth of the Gospel, to which you respond with faith and repentance. In this moment of conversion, your relationship is re-established with God.
Romans 8:37-39, 2 Corinthians 5:21
1 Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 2:8
Hebrews 9:15
We affirm that upon placing your faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, you, as a believer, are made part of the Body of Christ, of which Jesus is the Head. Scripture tells us that, as believers, we should come together in one accord to find a local body of believers. Together, we should devote ourselves to worship, prayer, teaching of the word, fellowship, and the ordinances of baptism and communion, in order to lend ourselves in service to the local body through the development and use of talents and spiritual gifts, and the great Commission of reaching out to the world in making disciples. Scripture also tells us that where two or more are gathered in His name, they will be in His presence. Wherever God's people meet in obedience to this command is where you'll find a local expression of the Church. Under the watchful care of a pastor, deacons, and elders, the church and its members will work together in love and unity with the intent of our ultimate purpose, which is to glorify Christ.
Ephesians 1:22-23, Acts 2:42-46
1 Corinthians 14:26, Matthew 28:18-20
Ephesians 4:16, Matthew 18:20
The mission of the Church is to go into the world in the power of the Spirit and make disciples by proclaiming His Gospel, calling people to respond in ongoing repentance and faith, and demonstrating the truth and power of the Gospel by living under the lordship of Christ for the glory of God and the good of the world.
Matthew 28:18-20
We affirm that Christian baptism is a public declaration of the believer’s salvation in Christ, identifying with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection symbolized by immersion in water to walk in the newness of Christ Jesus.
Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:41
Romans 6:3-6
The Lord’s Supper is the united commemoration by believers of Christ’s death until He comes again; a symbolic act of obedience where members of the church partake in bread and the fruit of the vine that represents Christ's body that was broken and the blood that was shed for our salvation. It should be preceded by careful self-examination.
1 Corinthians 11:20-29
We as Christians are expectantly awaiting the glorious, visible, personal, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the everlasting joy of the saved spending eternity in heaven, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Hebrews 7:25-26
John 5:28-29
